How to get the quality up and your nerves down, when you present as an Expat and Dutch professional?
The way to do this is to practice out loud before your presentation.
How so?
When you practice out loud, you lay out the track in your mind, metaphorically speaking. It is less new, so less scary.
You did a few test drives. You know what terminology to use, what to practice a bit better and if you can clearly make your point.
So, in this process you grow confidence and at the same time improve your presentation.
A nice by effect of this is that people that have practiced out loud, showcase a whole range of “non-verbals” (gestures, body language) that supports their story. And this comes across as incredibly convincing.
And they do not have to think about it. It goes fully automatic. Simply, because they’ve integrated their story.
So, if you want to kill two birds with one stone, get your quality up and your nerves down, start practicing out loud.
It is worth the time and effort.
Good luck!
