How do you present clearly and engagingly? How do you convince an international audience? How do you deal with presentation nerves?
These — and many other presentation-related topics — are addressed in the one-day training Presenting with Impact. After this training, you leave knowing how to successfully get your message across in an international environment.
For whom?
This training is designed for Expats and Dutch professionals working in international organisations. Whether you are a researcher, engineer, manager, PhD student, consultant, analyst, policy advisor, or work in any other professional role — if presenting is part of your work, this training is for you.
It is especially suitable for professionals who value personal attention. If you prefer not to be coached in large groups but instead want space for individual feedback and real interaction, this programme offers exactly that.
The training is delivered in small groups of 3–4 participants, ensuring a focused, safe environment where your specific challenges and questions get the attention they deserve.

You’re good at what you do. In your daily work, you’re often seen as a strong professional — someone with solid ideas and real expertise. Yet when it comes to presenting those ideas, something doesn’t quite land.
You want to deliver professional presentations, but you notice how difficult it can be to truly get your message across. Within minutes you feel attention is slipping away. Faces go blank. Energy drops.
Presenting doesn’t feel natural or enjoyable. It makes you nervous. Your heart rate goes up, your thoughts race, and instead of looking forward to it, you find yourself dreading the moment.
Giving a presentation can feel like standing at the foot of Mount Everest: intimidating, exhausting, and far from fun.
“This training was a true eye-opener for me. Very practical and educational. There are not many trainings (almost none) that have created that effect for me.”
— Suzanne E. (Reed Elsevier)
Somewhere inside, you know this isn’t about a lack of intelligence or capability. What’s missing is ease, structure, and confidence in front of an audience.
Now imagine this
Imagine that after just one day of training, you have the insight, structure, and practical tools to approach presentations differently.
After the training, presenting feels different.
You know how to structure your message so that it is clear and engaging from the very first minutes. You know how to bring your audience along with you — regardless of who is sitting in front of you.
You gain a better understanding of how different audiences listen to a presentation and what they pay attention to. You receive practical tools to better tailor your message to your audience in a professional environment.
We also focus on preparation. You learn how to build your presentation in a clear and logical way, making your message easier to follow — both for your audience and for yourself as the speaker.
This makes presenting more structured, more engaging, and more enjoyable to do.
And although nerves may still be there, they no longer have control. You know how to manage them so that you can present with confidence and presence.
The result? Presentations that come across as clearer, more engaging, and more confident.
“This week already three people stopped me in the corridors of APG to tell me that my presentation was very good. Thank you very much for helping me out. I am very happy.”
— T. K. (APG)

The group consists of a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 4 participants.
The training is fully conducted in English, including all instructions, reading materials, and videos. Participants are expected to have a basic command of English, as the focus of the training is on presentation skills rather than language proficiency. The programme is designed for professionals with a college or university-level background.
The training combines a clear, proven methodology with intensive, practice-oriented work. In a small-group setting, you work purposefully on your own presentation, with plenty of room for depth, nuance, and personal attention.
We follow a well-structured learning path: you experience, reflect, refine, and immediately apply what you learn. About a week before the training, you receive a short intake questionnaire to share your learning goals and context. This helps ensure the training day connects well with what participants want to work on.
Through focused, high-quality feedback — supported by video analysis — you gain clear insight into how you come across and where you can further strengthen your presentation.
The result is not only new insights, but also concrete tools that you can immediately apply in your own presentations.
